Marketing Communications Manager



Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Sales Ops, the Marketing Communications Manager will manage a variety of projects that support the marketing function including communications, web communications and programs/projects to increase awareness of Fincentric’s products and services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement creative marketing ideas for all forms of communication
  • Lead and manage the development of B2B offline and online communications plans
  • Support communication projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, public relations and trade shows, including Internet-based communications
  • Create compelling content, collateral, and campaigns for print and online, including white papers, case studies, articles, press releases, product sheets and brochures.
  • Prepares materials for customer presentations.
  • Write, edit and drive a highly effective customer focused marketing messages to be used in all communications.
  • Identify and track promotional opportunities through editorial articles, white papers and presentations at conferences.
  • Manage the vision of the website by developing and implementing design concepts, graphic images and branding of company products for web-based communications and promotions.
  • Create, manage and execute the overall internet marketing strategy, including e-mail campaign management, search engine optimization, online media and promotions.
  • Increasing online awareness of Fincentric and web site traffic by maximizing online user experience, effective web site content and search engine ranking
  • Keep current and up-to date on the latest trends in interactive marketing/media including blog marketing, pod casting, forum marketing, and content posting etc while investigating other internet marketing opportunities
  • Other duties, responsibilities, projects, etc. as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A creative and innovative mind generating new ideas.
  • Strong executional background including copywriting, editing and proofreading.
  • Excellent communication, project management and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Advanced understanding of web marketing strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of general business principles
Credentials & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations
  • 5 – 7 years B2B marketing communications experience in a technology-focused industry
  • A minimum of 2 years of Internet industry/Internet marketing or e-Commerce experience
  • Proven ability to successfully plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
