Sameer, thanks for allowing me to interview you today. I assume that before you started with Fincentric, you looked at other opportunities. What made you decide on Fincentric? |
| S: |
You're most welcome. That's right. I did look around for other opportunities before I decided on Fincentric. My reasons for joining Fincentric were two-fold. First, I wanted to work for a company that would allow me to grow and develop my career. Talking with people from Fincentric, I got the impression that you encourage movement within the company and give opportunities for employees that place their talents where they are most suited. I also felt it had a very "young" and dynamic work culture. The other reason was simple. I wanted to move to Vancouver. Having lived here before and coming from Toronto, I felt Vancouver has much more to offer for my lifestyle. |

You've been here for 11 months now. How is it going? |
| S: |
Very well. I'm having a good time. |
| HR: |
Have you learned anything new, or overcome any challenges? |
| S: |
Definitely. I've been exposed to lots of new things with the Canadian Banking Solutions team, specifically Gateways. It was definitely a learning curve but its interesting work and I've learned a lot. I've also had the opportunity to work onsite with our customers and interact with them. |

What do you think of the culture at Fincentric? |
| S: |
It's great. I wasn't disappointed after my first impressions. People are always willing to lend the new guy a hand. It's a busy job, but you're given your space to approach problems in your own way. |

Been to any pub nites..oops, not a Bona Fide Occupational Requirement (BFOR). Let me re-phrase... have you participated in any extracurricular Company activities? |
| S: |
Ha ha ha! Yes, I have participated in a whole bunch of company activities. Being on the Social Committee, I've been involved in the World Cup Soccer and Hockey Pools as well as Easter Egg Hunts, Bowling and Company picnics and barbeques. And of course, the Vancouver Sun Run. They're all good fun and lots of people in the company participate. |

Thanks very much for speaking with me today and providing us with a snapshot of a day in your life at Fincentric. Good luck at this year's Hockey pool! |
