In the Community

Success is not just measured in dollars and revenues, but in the way we treat one another and those beyond our doors. Each year, our people support various community programs and take part in annual initiatives to help education and those less fortunate in the community. University Co-op Programs Twice each year, Fincentric hires at least one co-op student from a B.C. university to work for eight months as the front-line support resource in our Information Technology department. The initiative provides students with excellent work experience in managing employee requests and concerns across the company. United Way - Annual Fundraising Campaign Fincentric matches contributions raised from internal fund-raising campaigns that are organized and run by employees, and include various fun events throughout the year. United Way - Day of Caring Employees volunteer to spend one paid day away from the office, at an identified charitable organization doing whatever job needs to be done. In the past, employees have spent the day painting interior walls and landscaping the exterior of various group homes that house the less fortunate in our community. The Vancouver Sun Run A Fincentric team of employees wakes up very early on a Sunday morning each spring, and heads downtown to participate in the 10-kilometer run in aid of The Vancouver Sun's Raise-a-Reader campaign and B.C.'s amateur athletes.
