Fincentric Earns Third Canada Export Award

Vancouver, BC — October 21, 2002 – Fincentric Corporation, a leading global provider of wealth management and core banking software, today announced that it has won a Lifetime Achievement Canada Export Award for having contributed significantly to Canada's economic growth by competing and succeeding in international markets. Fincentric has been honoured with a Canada Export Award for three years — 1998, 2001 and 2002.

"Since 1984 Fincentric has developed more than 300 clients in over 30 countries," said Pierre Pettigrew, Canada's Federal International Trade Minister. "The company is on the cutting edge of technology."

The Canada Export Award honours Canadian companies that have excelled in exporting their products and services to countries around the world. Fincentric was one of ten companies to receive the award this year and was selected from a group of 233 applicants.

“Three years ago we began working hard to bring a new class of software, called wealth management, to leading financial institutions around the world,” said Mike Cardiff, Fincentric’s president and CEO. “Today, our i-Wealthview solution is helping financial institutions service the rapidly growing ‘mass affluent’ customer segment while putting Canada at the forefront of software innovation.”

Fincentric's i-Wealthview is the world's first fully integrated wealth management system. It enables the financial institution to consolidate information from many financial systems (banking, insurance brokerage and trust) and provides a view to the customer's entire net worth--all assets and liabilities held inside, or outside of the home institution. This enables the institution to build profitable customer relationships. For the customer and their advisors, it provides unparalleled access to their entire portfolios, delivered over multiple channels (branch, ATM, telephone, Internet, wireless). Fincentric developed the system to enable institutions to deliver wealth management services to the rapidly growing "mass affluent" customer segment.

The 2002 Canada Export Awards were presented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in cooperation with the following sponsors: Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Export Development Canada, RBC Financial Group, the National Post, Sun Life Financial, Western Economic Diversification Canada, and the Vancouver Port Authority.
